Protecting Your Civil Rights
The United States of America has an essential focus on our freedom, which is outlined and detailed within the Constitution of the United States. As such, many of our federal and individual state laws are decisively necessary to uphold our freedom, our civil rights, and our civil liberties.
As a civil rights lawyer, I maintain to uphold all of our Constitutional rights of the United States as written, to the letter of the law. In addition to upholding your rights, I am also committed to aggressively seeking justice if any of these constitutional amendments have been violated.
The Constitution of the United States contains 27 Amendments, each of which lays out specific rights. While my civil rights and personal injury practice is committed to ensuring all 27 of these amendments are kept in practice, I predominantly focus on the 4th Amendment. The 4th Amendment states the following:
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
Committed to Serving the Underdog
While we were all born with the same rights, unfortunately there are many situations when certain groups are treated differently due to their gender, ethnic background, religion, disability, age, or orientation. As your civil rights attorney, I dedicate myself to fighting for the underdog.
Every situation is different. When you turn to me, you can count on me to take the time to understand the circumstances behind the incident and resulting actions. I fight for you, and I work hard to ensure that justice is served.
Contact me, Mary C. Anderson, to consult with a civil attorney for your specific situation. I fight for the rights of clients throughout Everett, Seattle, Bothell, Bellevue, and surrounding areas.
